Sound Advice - Changing Times
Laugh at balancing your chakras all you want, but I find it interesting that, as we travel through our normal bits of linear time, our theories known or accepted by our experts and scientists are constantly changing. At one point in history we were so sure the world was flat, now today I see the big bang theory is questionable at best.
As far as I can tell the world is definitely not as we see it. Think about how much of the world we actually see. There are specific cells in our eyes called cones that actually detect variables within the electromagnetic spectrum. As long as they are between the 4000 and 7000 angstroms mark (somewhere between infra red and ultra-violet) that is. Hmmm would this indicate that we're unable to see anything above and below such frequencies? Yes.
Lets look at another example, an average human ear can hear frequencies resonating somewhere between 20 Hz - 20 kHz. Sound strange? Maybe so but don't think for a minute that just because that's the range we hear, that's all there is.
Now as opposed to going on with additional endless examples. Let us focus on the positive;
The Seven Major Notes – For centuries both Indian and Asian cultures have practiced healing techniques based along the endocrine glandular system, also referred to as the Meridian system or... more commonly know to them as the seven major chakras. Coincidently, these 7 major chakras just so happen to correlate with the seven major notes or frequencies that can be produced by even simplest of instruments including our own voices. Could it be that listening to or meditating with these chakra-tuning frequencies could actuality change our lives for the good? Do you think it's at all possible these cultures may have carry some thread of truth and wisdom for the past few thousand years? Could it be something more than just a mere coincidence?
The next time someone tells you they just purchased a chakra balancing cd including the seven major notes, don't laugh. They may be quietly trying to spear ahead of you on the spiritual train and the last time I checked, that's not the train to be left behind on.
